28 Tales for 28 Days - Refugee Tales!

This month we are sharing space - with the 28 Tales for 28 Days project, to help broadcast the stories of those who have experienced indefinite immigration detention in the UK. Over 28 days, you will find tales here, showing the fundamental power of story-telling to bring about change.

Refugee Tales is an outreach project rooted from one of our visitors groups, Gatwick Detainees Welfare Group. It was inspired by the experiences of men held in immigration detention at Gatwick IRC. To highlight the call for a 28 day time limit for immigration detention, Refugee Tales is releasing 28 tales online – a new tale each day to be viewed on www.28for28.org. Writers and actors lend their words and voices to asylum seekers, refugees and people held indefinitely in the UK's detentione estate.
