Yarls Wood Befrienders: Three events for Refugee Week 2017

Yarl's Wood Befrienders is holding an information evening on Wednesday 14th June from 7 to 8:30 pm on at their office 43 Bromham Road, Bedford, MK40 2AA.

This is a chance for people who may be interested in volunteering with YWB, either in the office or as a befriender, to find out more about what they do and what is involved in volunteering. 

It would also be of interest for people who may not want to volunteer but would like to know more about Yarl's Wood Befrienders, the experiences of women detained at Yarl's Wood and the immigration detention in the UK.

Asylum Monologues  - collection/ donation goes to Yarl's Wood Befrienders.

Ice and Fire theatre perform the Asylum Monologues, Thursday 15th June, at The Quarry Theatre, 26 St.Peter's Street, Bedford. 

Ice and Fire theatre company explores human rights stories through performance. They perform to thousands of people every year across the UK, telling stories from refugees and asylum seekers, people in poverty, undocumented migrants, women in Afghanistan and more

Wellingborough Community Gospel Choir performance in aid of Yarl's Wood Befrienders

It will be held on Saturday 17th June at Park Road Baptist Church, Rushden, NN10 0LH.
